The BMB Zada & Zada Pro are state of the art under sink inline water filter systems with 4 and 7 stage filtration process depending on the model. The systems come standard with a luxury single purified water dispensing faucet (we recommend a 3-way tap) and installation kit. A little more about the filters...

*The BMB Zada and the first filter of Zada Pro*

The first stage of the system is a 1-micron filter which is infused with zinc nanoparticles that activate in the water for antibacterial properties. This stage has a microorganism kill rate of more than 99% while filtering sediment, dust and particles that are greater than 1-micron size.

The second stage of the system is activated coconut shell carbon powder with one of the highest surface area capacities in the world (1 x 1015 m2). This tremendous capacity allows for 99.9999% absorption and removal chemicals such as chlorine, benzene, radon, solvents trihalomethane compounds, volatile organic chemicals (such as pesticides and herbicides) and hundreds of other man-made chemicals that are regularly found in tap water.

The third stage of the system is a 0.5-micron filter which is also infused with zinc nanoparticles that activate in the water for antibacterial properties. This stage also has a microorganism kill rate of more than 99% while filtering sediment, dust, particles that are greater than 0.5-micron and heavy metals such as chromium, lead, mercury and cadmium.

The fourth stage is an Ultrafiltration (UF) element that is composed of 0.2-micron hollow fiber strains. The UF element will remove 99.99% of bacteria, particles down to microscopic size, heavy metals such as Iron and manganese along with hundreds of other compounds that are regularly found in tap water.

The purpose of the second filter is to remove temporary hardness that often causes bad taste and scale formation, add great tasting minerals back into the water that does not form scale, increase the water pH to above 7.5 to produce alkaline water, further remove chlorine and other chemicals that cause bad taste and odor and act as a final polishing filter.

The fifth stage is a specially designed resin that will remove only the temporary hardness (scale forming and bad tasting minerals) such as calciım carbonate and magnesium carbonate while keeping the good tasting minerals such as Calcium (Ca+2) and Magnesium (Mg+2).

The sixth stage of the system is granule activated coconut shell carbon This filter will further remove chemicals such as chlorine, benzene, radon, solvents trihalomethane compounds, volatile organic chemicals (such as pesticides and herbicides) and act as a final polishing filter.

The seventh stage is made up entirely of Calcite mineral. This mineral will add more of the great tasting Ca+2 and Mg+2 minerals back into the water to not only produce great taste, great coffee but also give the water alkaline properties with a pH of 7.5 or greater.

BMB Zada Pro is designed for use in residential under the counter and commercial drinking water applications such as cafes where the mineral content of the water is very important for the best-tasting espressos.

The system is installed under the counter with a secondary faucet installed on the sink if you choose to, but we strongly recommend the Hommix 3 way taps as it eliminates the need to drill another hole in the sink and keeps your sink looking elegant and not cluttered. The 3" x 14" larger filter sizes have one of the longest lifetimes in industry. The first filter has 2-3 years of lifetime for residential use and 1 year for commercial use. The second filter has 6-12 month lifetime for residential use and 3-6 months of lifetime for commercial use.
